Barrow #1: A New Permitted Development Opportunity

Barrow Heritage Ranch, LP

A New Development Program

The Barrow #1 well represents a new directional drilling project within Barrow Heritage Ranch's Chambers County mineral position, operated by Kaler Energy Corp. The well is planned to a depth of approximately 15,550 feet, targeting formations identified through the partnership's proprietary 3D seismic data and geological evaluation.

Directional drilling technology allows a wellbore to deviate from vertical, enabling operators to reach target formations that may not be accessible from a vertical wellbore at the surface location. This capability is particularly valuable in geologically complex areas like Chambers County, where the geometry of subsurface structures may favor a non-vertical approach to specific targets.

Kaler Energy Corp.

Kaler Energy Corp. serves as operator for the Barrow #1 development program. The selection of an operator with relevant experience in the Chambers County area and the technical capability to execute a directional drilling program to the planned depth reflects the partnership's approach to development — seeking operators whose capabilities match the requirements of specific projects.

The Barrow #1 project was scheduled for drilling in October 2026. The partnership looks forward to providing updates on this project as it advances and will report on its status as information becomes available.

The Role of Seismic Data

The identification of the Barrow #1 drilling location reflects the value of the partnership's proprietary 3D seismic data. The seismic data provided the subsurface imaging necessary to identify the target formations, evaluate the structural geometry of the prospect, and support the planning of the directional wellbore path.

This is precisely the kind of application for which the partnership's seismic investment was made — the ability to identify and evaluate specific development opportunities within its mineral position with a level of geological confidence that would not be possible from well-log data or two-dimensional seismic surveys alone.

Context Within the Mineral Position

The Barrow #1 project represents one element of the partnership's broader development activity. Alongside the Barrow #1 program, the partnership maintains participation in established production associated with Denbury Resources and active rework programs for the Barrow R. J. #17 and #18 wells in the Willow Slough Field, operated by GCOWS Operating LLC.

This diversity of activity — new drilling, rework operations, and established production — reflects the breadth of the partnership's mineral position and its engagement across the full range of development opportunities available within it.
